Can you ship items to me?

Yes, we can arrange for remote payment and we will ship to you. We can’t mail hazardous goods and oversized items (ex; skis, fuel, bear spray, running chariots).  We have been able to arrange for shipping of some of these items via local carriers if you live in a Yukon Community. Email

Can I return my purchase?

You can return unused, unopened, clean items with their original labels and tags- in other words, items in perfect condition- within 90 days of purchase. For safety and hygiene reasons the following items cannot be returned or exchanged: swimsuits, underwear and bras (base layers like long johns are not underwear), bear safety items, fuel, all climbing gear, helmets, GPS and other locator products, all food items, sunscreen & lip balm, all fluids, waxes and sprays.

Can I buy or use a gift card online?

Yes, you can buy Gift Cards in any denomination to use in our store. (Lots of people buy these are gifts for locals!) We will arrange for in-store pick up or we will mail them for you.

I live outside of Canada and I have a trip or I’m in a race in Yukon. How can I get what I need?

Please email and tell us what you need. We will assemble your gear for purchase when you arrive in Yukon. We recommend this for visitors like our Yukon Arctic Ultra racers who must be sure to have certain gear.

What payment methods does Coast Mountain accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Debit cards and, believe it or not, cash.

What if I shop in your store and then I find an item for less?

We will price match any Canadian retailer. If you find the item listed for less at the time of purchase we will be happy to match it. Please contact us with the information about the other store or send the link to If it’s the exact same item we will match the price. And, in advance, we want to thank you for buying local!!
